Nereo Ocampo enjoys drinking Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain. Nereo has owned Cantina Vallarta for 5 years and has become a master chef, unlike any other in the town of Salmon Arm.

     Cantina Vallarta took a new direction in October of 2007 when Nereo took ownership of the restaurant on his birthday. The fun, and the food haven't stopped since that day. Cantina has become a vital part of downtown Salmon Arm due to its involvement of the community and partnerships with local businesses. During the summer, tourists from all over Canada come to sample the fine Mexican cuisine and have a great time.
